About the Role
This position supports Medtronic’s commercial programs by developing best practice operating procedures, creating standardized pricing and modeling templates, assisting in developing and tracking contract KPIs for key Strategic and Corporate accounts, modeling market share to maximize Medtronic share of wallet, and leading data analysis to provide insights on Corporate and Enterprise Account performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Commercial Manager of Enterprise Accounts to execute the Enterprise Accounts commercial strategy.
- Lead the development of financial modeling and pricing templates for group level contract proposals.
- Create analysis to provide insight into deal metrics, profitability, and viability.
- Lead the development of market share reporting, market models, and data analysis to understand the market and identify incremental revenue opportunities.
- Utilize MS Excel and Power BI for reporting and dashboards to measure deal effectiveness.
- Support and improve reporting and dashboards for Strategic Account Managers and Corporate Accounts Managers.
- Support sales leaders in monitoring deals and contracts.
- Support best practice rebate accrual and reporting processes.
- Provide coaching and development to the offshore Rebates team.
- Run workshops to develop and upskill the local team.
- Set up monthly, quarterly, and annual contract performance reporting, including forecasts for major Strategic Customer contracts.
- Champion the use of AI tools to interrogate datasets, generate insights, and support scenario analysis.
- Act as a bridge between business users and data/AI capabilities, translating commercial questions into analytical solutions.
- Build strategy decks for business reviews in collaboration with the Enterprise Accounts team.
- Work across various departments and systems, including Finance, Customer Service, and Sales Teams.
- Implement continual process improvement and task standardization.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and commercial analysis requests.
- Provide Excel models, dashboards, and commercial insight to enable fast decision-making for Strategic and Corporate Account Managers.
- Engage with customers on commercial models, market share data, and analytical performance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced MS Office suite of software proficiency.
- Advanced Excel skills and intermediate PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and other data analytics programs.
- Experience with AI tools and agents to enhance workflows and automate analysis and data reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in devising and implementing process improvement projects.
- Experience with the CRM platform Salesforce.com is an advantage.
- Going into a healthcare setting is considered an essential function of the job for sales reps and other patient-facing field employees.
