About the Role
Ensure MYOB meets its regulatory obligations by collaborating with stakeholders to integrate strict compliance practices into daily operations and promote a seamless compliance culture. This role requires a compliance professional with deep regulatory knowledge and the ability to translate obligations into practical business solutions, capable of both hands-on work and strategic insight in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Compliance Team to roll out and maintain MYOB’s compliance framework
- Manage compliance registers, controls and reporting to meet regulatory obligations (ASIC, AUSTRAC, ACCC, Privacy Act, Corporations Act, AML/CTF, etc.)
- Provide clear, practical compliance advice to leaders and teams across product, technology and operations
- Coordinate monitoring and testing activities, address issues, and prepare reports for executives, boards and regulators
- Assist with MYOB’s new risk and compliance system and respond to audits, reviews and regulatory requests
- Keep across emerging regulations and risks, and help build a strong compliance and risk culture through training and engagement
Requirements
- Extensive expertise and experience in compliance, risk, regulatory advisory, or legal positions, preferably in financial services, superannuation, banking, payments, or fintech
- Proven grasp of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC, AUSTRAC, ACCC, Privacy, AML/CTF)
- Established capability in supervising compliance frameworks, obligations registers, monitoring projects, and reporting procedures
- Strong communication and influencing abilities, with assurance in engaging collaborators at all levels
- High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications in law, commerce, finance, risk, or compliance
