About the Role
Chemtrans is seeking local dayshift drivers for their Botany depot to support operations in NSW. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading Class 8 liquid dangerous goods, operating specialized pumping equipment, and completing customer deliveries. A strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Transporting, loading and unloading a variety of Class 8 liquid dangerous goods.
- Operating specialised pumping equipment safely.
- Wearing appropriate PPE to suit the product being transported.
- Completing customer deliveries to clients’ customers both local metro and country NSW.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service.
Requirements
- Proven driving experience of at least 12 months.
- Knowledge of Sydney metro.
- Strong and safe driving history.
- Ability to wear required PPE including chemical suits, face shields, and helmets.
- A flexible mindset towards the demands of the transport industry.
- Able to work overtime when required.
- Positive attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and police check.
