About the Role

SLR is an international environmental consultancy focused on making sustainability happen. The Geospatial and Data Solutions team has an opportunity for an early-career Geospatial Analyst to join their team, working on multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with senior consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support on geospatial concepts to teams across the APAC region
  • Collaborate with both local and regional teams within APAC to deliver quality work
  • Undertake data management, conversion, manipulation and visualisation for projects
  • Undertake spatial analysis to support decision making
  • Prepare high quality maps and figures for reports
  • Manage and develop online content including web maps, dashboard and mobile data collection applications
  • Build internal network across SLR’s professionals and become a trusted partner for everything Geospatial

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and other GIS applications
  • Experience with ESRI mobile applications Field Maps and Survey123
  • Understanding of fundamental Geospatial concepts including coordinate systems, data formats and spatial analysis and geodatabase schemas
  • Knowledge of computer aided drafting (CAD) software packages (desired not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Diversity in project background experience that can be applied across a range of project types
  • Australian working rights
  • Diverse project experience that can be applied across a range of project disciplines especially in Environmental Sciences and Ecology
  • Full working rights in Australia
