About the Role
SLR is an international environmental consultancy focused on making sustainability happen. The Geospatial and Data Solutions team has an opportunity for an early-career Geospatial Analyst to join their team, working on multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with senior consultants.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on geospatial concepts to teams across the APAC region
- Collaborate with both local and regional teams within APAC to deliver quality work
- Undertake data management, conversion, manipulation and visualisation for projects
- Undertake spatial analysis to support decision making
- Prepare high quality maps and figures for reports
- Manage and develop online content including web maps, dashboard and mobile data collection applications
- Build internal network across SLR’s professionals and become a trusted partner for everything Geospatial
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and other GIS applications
- Experience with ESRI mobile applications Field Maps and Survey123
- Understanding of fundamental Geospatial concepts including coordinate systems, data formats and spatial analysis and geodatabase schemas
- Knowledge of computer aided drafting (CAD) software packages (desired not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Diversity in project background experience that can be applied across a range of project types
- Australian working rights
- Diverse project experience that can be applied across a range of project disciplines especially in Environmental Sciences and Ecology
