About the Role
The Moulder Technician operates and monitors production line equipment, ensuring production targets and schedules are met while adhering to safety and quality standards in a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate production equipment to achieve production targets.
- Ensure products meet quality, food safety, and customer requirements.
- Comply with all WHS, quality, environmental, and food safety standards.
- Accurately record production and downtime data to support continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain high housekeeping and workplace organisation standards.
Requirements
- Experience operating blow moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to identify issues, analyse problems and respond with effective, cost-efficient solutions.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or similar high-quality production environment.
- Proactive approach to safety and ability to work within a strong behavioural safety culture.
- Flexibility and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
