About the Role
As an Analyst in the Credit Risk team, you will assess and manage credit exposures for institutional and corporate clients. You will contribute to the firm's resilience by preparing credit memoranda, financial models, and conducting due diligence to support strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage credit exposures for an assigned portfolio of institutional and corporate clients across various industries and products.
- Prepare forward-looking credit memoranda and financial models for new onboardings and existing clients.
- Monitor market and industry developments to assess impacts on coverage clients.
- Recommend and monitor internal credit ratings.
- Assist senior team members with due diligence, transaction structuring, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including client coverage and product bankers.
- Prepare and monitor credit and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support ad-hoc initiatives, projects, and workstreams.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in accounting, business, finance, or a quantitative discipline.
- Experience in credit risk or credit analysis within institutional, investment, or corporate banking.
- Ability to identify key issues regarding clients, industries, and transaction structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated time management and clarity of thought in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build relationships and interact with origination teams and internal stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in designing and implementing AI/LLM-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
