About the Role
The Staley Company is a leading manufacturer of ground support test equipment and engine test cells for the aircraft industry. We specialize in fuel/hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical component test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical test systems, including hydraulic/pneumatic, for aircraft components.
- Read OEM test specifications and collaborate with customers to design custom test equipment.
- Oversee and coordinate assigned projects from design through installation and startup.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, with an emphasis on hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Energetic, self-driven individual requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience building component aircraft ground test equipment is preferred.
- Shop experience with hand tools, machining, and metal fabrication.
