About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support the planning, allocation, and deployment of workforce resources for Teaching and Exams activities. The role manages the contracting, availability, readiness checks, and scheduling of Venue Staff, Examiners, and Teaching Assistants, while also supporting teacher contracting and coordinating with Delivery and Academic teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, allocation, and deployment of workforce resources for Teaching and Exams activities.
  • Manage the contracting, availability, readiness checks, and scheduling of Venue Staff, Examiners, and Teaching Assistants.
  • Support teacher contracting.
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Academic teams to coordinate scheduling and ensure alignment with timetabling requirements.
  • Liaise with centralized, hubbed, or outsourced workforce teams to standardize and centralize workforce administration processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of workforce data.
  • Support efficient workforce operations and resource deployment.
  • Ensure the right people are contracted, onboarded, compliant, and deployed to meet operational commitments.
  • Maintain accurate workforce data and documentation, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, security, right-to-work, training, and vetting requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for workforce-related queries.
  • Provide clear communication and guidance on scheduling, onboarding, and compliance processes.
  • Streamline workforce administration.
  • Support payment processing and working time reconciliation.
  • Contribute to efficient workforce utilization and cost-effective resource deployment.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating secure, regulated service delivery environments (e.g., exams, logistics, or events).
  • Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and screening requirements.
  • Strong process management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience supervising staff, contractors, or temporary workforce teams.
  • Candidates must have the pre-existing, legal right to work in the listed location/s at the time of application.
  • Mobility / relocation / visa sponsoring support will not be provided.
