About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to work across two mental health programs, Mental Wellbeing and Raphael Services, providing therapeutic support to individuals, families, and communities to achieve sustainable mental health outcomes. You will deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to clients aged 16 and over under a Mental Health Treatment Plan as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, case formulation and care planning for a diverse and complex caseload.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
- Support clients experiencing mental health concerns, including perinatal mental health.
- Work collaboratively with individuals to enhance wellbeing and strengthen family relationships.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, referrers and external service providers.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, case notes and professional correspondence.
- Demonstrate reflective practice and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold professional, ethical and legal standards.
- Contribute to a safe environment through adherence to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
Requirements
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration or membership eligibility with AHPRA or AASW.
- Eligibility to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.
- Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based mental health interventions.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to person-centred care and alignment with the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.

Salary/Compensations
- $75,038 – $118,246 plus 12% superannuation
