About the Role
As a Loss Prevention & Asset Protection Responsible, you will partner with the business to develop and execute data-driven strategies to mitigate risk, reduce shrinkage, and protect company assets. You will leverage data to identify loss trends, lead program implementation, manage investigations, and ensure consistent application of policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven Loss Prevention strategies to mitigate risk, reduce shrinkage, and protect company assets.
- Leverage shrinkage, inventory, and transaction data to identify loss trends, uncover root causes, and drive effective corrective actions.
- Lead the implementation of Loss Prevention programs, tools, and training initiatives to strengthen operational controls and foster a culture of loss awareness and accountability.
- Lead Loss Prevention case management & reporting, investigations involving theft, fraud and communication with law enforcement.
- Partner with relevant internal stakeholders across the sales market (store operations, sales market leadership, etc.) to ensure consistent application of loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Train and educate store staff and other relevant stakeholders on loss prevention awareness, security protocols, and incident reporting.
- Conduct security audits and monitor compliance to identify risks and ensure stores meet company standards.
- Partner with store and area teams to implement security action plans and drive loss prevention improvements.
- Support inventory and stock count processes through store visits, guidance, and follow-up to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and optimise security systems, including CCTV, EAS, access control, alarms, and cash-handling solutions, to ensure effective protection of people and assets.
- Ensure security systems comply with global standards and local requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced protection.
- Manage relationships with external security integrators, service providers, and contractors, ensuring high performance and cost effectiveness.
- Run procurement activities for services procured on sales market level, cost budgeting and follow up.
- Recommend improvements, upgrades, and new solutions to enhance security effectiveness and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or risk management preferably within retail or fashion retail environments
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify risks, investigate issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimise loss.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and work collaboratively across multiple functions to support operational excellence and protect business assets.
- Strong technical understanding of CCTV, alarms, EAS, access control, and related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management systems, and POS transaction analysis
- Knowledge of security compliance programs, standards, and audit processes
- Experience in LP case management (fraud, investigations, handling authorities)
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when managing sensitive matters.
- Ability to use MS Office & LP tools (LPMS, KPI dashboards, CCTV systems, shrinkage reports)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel once a month
