About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team. This role involves managing contracts, files, and processes, coordinating signatures and legalizations, and handling high-volume agreements. You will work closely with lawyers on various legal tasks and have the opportunity to grow with the business.
Responsibilities
- Support the legal team with day-to-day execution and urgent tasks.
- Maintain organized legal files and operations, including document storage, version control, and databases.
- Coordinate signature, notarization, apostille, and legalization processes from preparation to filing.
- Review and edit high-volume agreements such as order forms and NDAs against templates.
- Assist with corporate housekeeping, governance, legal deadlines, and external counsel management.
- Contribute to improving legal team tools, systems, templates, and workflows, including adopting legal tech and AI.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in legal operations/administration.
- Experience with commercial contracts is preferred.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with document management, spreadsheets, databases, and contract tools.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, including AI tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal and administrative points clearly to non-lawyers.
- Trustworthy with confidential information and sound judgment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment; a self-starter.
- Fluent in English.
- Outgoing personality and ability to build relationships.
