About the Role
Lead the communications and engagement function for complex, high-impact transport projects across NSW. You will foster community connections, build trust, and provide strategic leadership to ensure community insights drive better project outcomes and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategic direction for communications and engagement across major transport projects and services.
- Partner with project teams, contractors, and senior leaders to navigate complexity and manage risk.
- Ensure community and stakeholder insights shape decision-making through inclusive and culturally respectful engagement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to position communications as a strategic enabler of project delivery.
Requirements
- Experience working on significant infrastructure, service delivery, or public sector programs.
- Proven ability to balance delivery objectives with community and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated experience providing trusted advice to senior leaders with sound judgment and political acumen.
- Ability to excel in matrixed environments and build partnerships across government and industry.
- Experience leading through other leaders to build capability and foster high-performing teams.
