About the Role

MFC Training is seeking a Full Time Flight Instructor to join their team in London, Ontario. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest level of safety and quality in maintaining MFC's fleet of aircraft while training the world's newest flight crews.

Responsibilities

• Train students in accordance with the Training Manual, Flight Training Operational Manual, and Transport Canada's Flight Instructor Guide.
• Assist with Operational Control as per company Standard Operating Procedures, FTOM, and TM.
• Accurately record times for training activities including briefings, flights, Ground School, instrument time, and cross-country times for accurate training records.
• Provide adequate supervision and constructive feedback to assigned students.
• Actively participate in MFC's safety and quality programs.
• Ensure all licenses and required medicals are current and maintain fitness for duty.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that does not negatively affect MFC, while on or off duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Commercial, or higher, Pilot License for the category and, as appropriate, the class and type of aircraft in which the flight training is conducted.
• Hold a Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 Instructor Rating with any endorsements applicable to the type of flight training provided.
• Know and understand the applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations necessary for the proper and safe performance of duties.
• Flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
