About the Role

The Loren Hotel, an internationally recognized luxury hotel group, is bringing understated luxury and sophistication to Austin. We are seeking individuals who are passionate, free-spirited, and committed to excellence to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, restock, and audit in-room minibar items to ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all inventory is up to standard and guests are billed correctly for consumed items.
• Refill minibar items in guest rooms based on consumption.
• Ensure expiration dates and product presentation meet quality standards.
• Record guest consumption accurately using handheld devices or manual logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of minibar storage areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or missing items in the rooms.
• Communicate guest requests or concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking supply rooms.
• Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies.
• Perform and complete all tasks and duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain proper etiquette in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner with guests and employees.

Requirements

• Previous luxury hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Experience in inventory or food and beverage handling preferred.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Familiarity with handheld POS or mobile inventory systems is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Knowledge of hotel service standards and guest privacy expectations.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continually throughout a shift.
• Frequent bending required.
• Must be able to push, pull, and move levers, equipment, and furniture throughout a shift.
• Must be able to work with arms raised above head throughout a shift.
• Must be able to maneuver fully loaded maid cart, weighing up to 50lbs, through hallways and into/out of closets during the entire workday.
• Continuous movement throughout the hotel.
• Continuous standing for 90% of the shift.
• Climbing stairs (approx. 100 steps) 3% of 8 hours.
• Use of ladders (approx. 3 feet) 2% of 8-hour shift.
