About the Role
As a Medical Data Annotator at Wisedocs, you will leverage your clinical expertise and technology skills to transform how insurance companies, legal teams, and healthcare organizations handle medical records. Your work will involve reviewing real records, producing accurate indexing and summaries, and directly contributing to the improvement of our AI models.
Responsibilities
- Review live records, applying clinical and technical experience.
- Extract key information to create accurate and usable medical summaries.
- Compile, sort, and verify data to ensure a clean foundation for documents.
- Review and document with a strong quality focus, recognizing accuracy as the product.
- Compare prompted outputs against source records to identify technical and clinical errors.
- Partner with the QA team to uphold and elevate quality standards.
- Contribute directly to software training and machine learning workflows by translating clinical judgment into model improvements.
- Undertake other projects as the team and product evolve.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working directly with medical records.
- Fluent in French (equivalent to CEFR C1 level or native speaker).
- Health sciences background (e.g., psychology, physiotherapy, dental, general medicine - MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc., Psychology).
- High typing proficiency and comfort using Office 365.
- Exceptional grammar, writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- High standard for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise flexibility and judgment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfort working in an AI-assisted, tech-forward environment.
- Preferred: Prior experience summarizing records for insurance, legal, or claims contexts.
- Preferred: Familiarity with QA or clinical-review workflows.
