About the Role
Analyze complex risks in the insurance business and make them manageable through mathematical models and machine learning methods, contributing to strategic decisions. Our team's actuarial insights form the basis for strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Independently accompany and support clients in demanding consulting projects on various topics in the insurance industry.
- Act as a point of contact for integrating model results into corporate management and driving the further development of corporate models.
- Support clients with actuarial and strategic questions and be a first mover for new, innovative solutions.
- Accompany and manage M&A processes, restructurings, and new foundations of financial services companies from an actuarial perspective.
- Develop new products based on profitability and market analyses together with clients and represent the company by participating in events.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or Business Administration with a focus on Mathematics or Business Analytics
- Ideally 4-7 years of professional experience in a consulting firm or in a corresponding position at an insurance or financial services company
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and their implementation
- Qualification as an actuary (DAV or comparable)
