About the Role

This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quantitative and econometric behavioral models for credit, interest rate, and liquidity risk management, as well as balance sheet and capital planning. The position requires providing independent analysis, model development, and guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop quantitative behavioral models for credit, interest rate, liquidity risk, and capital planning.
  • Prepare, manage, and analyze large datasets using SQL or similar tools for statistical modeling.
  • Execute regressions and econometric analyses using statistical software.
  • Communicate analytical results and risk drivers to stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
  • Deploy models into production environments.
  • Monitor portfolio and model performance, including campaign tracking and variance analysis.
  • Maintain comprehensive model documentation and performance monitoring guidelines.
  • Support model validation exercises with the Model Risk Management team.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SR 11-7 and internal risk policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combined 6 years of higher education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of quantitative behavioral modeling experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Python.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with data management environments like SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Proven experience in credit model development.
  • Demonstrated experience with logistic regression.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings clearly.
