About the Role
This intensive 10-week quant trading internship program is designed to enhance your trading aptitude and understanding of financial markets, providing an experience akin to being a full-time quant trader at Jump. You will receive training in trading, quantitative research, and development, with a focus on trading and financial markets. Topics include trading strategies, market mechanics, statistics, and signal generation research. The internship offers the chance to work on impactful projects with daily 1:1 mentorship from experienced professionals, and participate in modules designed to improve probabilistic thinking, risk-taking, and trader mindset.
Responsibilities
- Work with trading teams on meaningful projects with real impact.
- Receive daily 1:1 mentorship from experienced quant traders, researchers, and developers.
- Participate in mock trading sessions, poker training, and other modules designed to improve probabilistic thinking, risk-taking, and trader mindset.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
- Seeking sharp analytical minds from top undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Outstanding skills in probabilistic thinking and mathematical reasoning.
- Competitive spirit and uncommon drive to learn and improve.
- Programming experience.
