About the Role

Orchard is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance organization through a period of profitable growth. This critical leadership role will partner with the CEO, manage FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting teams, and drive business insight, budgeting, and forecasting. The CFO will foster a culture of financial discipline and intelligent risk-taking, guiding the company towards profitability and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop the FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting teams (8 people) to deliver business insight and rigorous financial analysis
Build and sustain a culture of financial discipline that supports both high growth and profitability
Foster a culture of intelligent, calculated risk-taking across the organization
Partner with other departments and functions to support their success
Serve as a champion for Orchard in the market, helping shape workplace culture in line with Orchard's values
Lead the company's path toward profitable, sustainable growth.

Requirements

At least 10+ years of success in financial leadership roles
Systems thinking, with the ability to lead teams through a combination of personal leadership and process discipline
An investor's mindset — able to zoom out to the bigger picture and zoom into granular detail, all through a financial lens
An entrepreneurial approach — high energy, action-oriented, and effective in scrappy, fast-moving environments
Strong customer focus and empathy, plus intellectual curiosity and comfort making decisions under uncertainty
M&A experience (a plus, not required)
A reputation as a passionate leader and strong communicator who gets things done
