About the Role

The M&A function within LPL Financial technology is responsible for planning, orchestration, and execution, enabling seamless integration of incoming Advisors, Investors, and Home office users. We are looking for a passionate, delivery-oriented leader to represent technology in large M&A integrations, fostering strong relationships and serving as the point of contact for conversion with partner institutions. You will collaborate with partner institutions and LPL domain/product teams to understand and document technology requirements, issues, and concerns, facilitating delivery. As a trusted technology partner, you will drive outcomes and provide transparency on execution and operational KPIs, documenting technology requirements and driving deal execution while seeking efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary technology point of contact for multiple partner institutions representing LPL.
  • Strengthen and nurture technology partnerships with partner institutions.
  • Present solutions proactively.
  • Serve as the conduit between partner institutions and LPL technology teams.
  • Engage the right teams in a timely manner.
  • Disseminate required information across teams.
  • Facilitate cross-domain and partner institution engagements.
  • Communicate schedules and drive delivery of capabilities.
  • Understand requirements and concerns, navigating them to the right product owners.
  • Escalate issues to domain stakeholders.
  • Drive commitments and resolutions from product owners and technology leadership.
  • Assist in initiative management through metrics establishment.
  • Promote a high degree of transparency on execution.
  • Develop a sound understanding of LPL technology ecosystems, including advisor and investor-facing products/platforms, data ecosystems, and integration mechanisms.
  • Develop a sound understanding of partner institution technologies and their integrations with LPL applications, data dependencies, and capability requirements.
  • Drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrate persistence in raising issues to the proper levels for attention.
  • Drive transparency at all levels surrounding program execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology, including leadership roles spanning development, program management, and delivery leadership, preferably within a financial service or related FinTech firm.
  • 2+ years of experience handling projects related to data readiness, migration, API integrations, and post-delivery support.
  • Software engineering background with 3+ years of prior development experience.

  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of Finance technology platforms.
  • Proven experience with advisor and investor-facing technologies and platforms.
