About the Role

The Business Analyst is a key member of the product development team, serving as the primary liaison between the development team and the business. This role involves understanding and translating business needs into software requirements, ensuring these are clearly defined and understood by the development team through agile practices. The position is within the Identity Platform domain, focusing on secure access across MYOB products, a major security uplift, cloud migration, and exploring new agentic authentication capabilities.

Responsibilities

Understand and translate business needs into software requirements.
Ensure requirements, designs, and specifications are captured, defined, and well understood by the development team.
Utilize agile practices in daily work.
Contribute to platform work that improves security, modernizes core capabilities, and enables better outcomes for teams and customers.

Requirements

Experience as a business analyst working in a team environment.
Solid understanding of agile systems of work.
Ability to identify areas of improvement and influence change.
Strong proven Business Analysis experience in a commercial product or bespoke software development organization.
Good understanding of SDLC principles and the software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.
Demonstrable involvement or engagement with the business analysis community and agile community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong facilitation, workshop, and organizational skills.
