About the Role

The Manager, Corporate Partnerships advances Diabetes Canada’s mission by driving corporate fundraising efforts and meeting annual revenue goals. This role focuses on maintaining existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities that align with the Corporate Fund Development program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop and execute strategic and annual business plans.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in corporate engagement.
  • Implement targeted solicitation plans to secure new partnership commitments.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the organization within the corporate sector.
  • Manage a portfolio of partners using Moves Management and stewardship activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, value-driven relationships with current and prospective partners.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to support shared organizational objectives.
  • Ensure proactive, transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, sponsors, and supporters in the CRM system.
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications to craft compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefing materials on corporate prospects and growth opportunities.
  • Stay informed on corporate giving trends and integrate insights into fundraising strategies.
  • Use data and event metrics to develop impactful sponsorship and donation proposals.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in business, communication, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or sales/marketing within the non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated success in building influential relationships and securing corporate support.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for corporate partner meetings or community events.

Salary/Compensations

  • $80,000 - $92,500
