About the Role
A Central Austin family seeks a full-time, live-out nanny for their two school-aged children. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and enthusiastic, matching the family's active lifestyle. This role involves supporting the children's daily routines, including school pickups, homework, extracurricular activities, and light household tasks. The family is looking for someone to provide a stable and caring presence while they are at work.
Responsibilities
- Provide childcare for a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old.
- Manage school pickups and after-school routines.
- Assist with homework and manage extracurricular schedules.
- Prepare meals and coordinate groceries.
- Handle children's laundry and maintain kids' rooms.
- Perform light household tasks.
- Ensure children's safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Must have a BA/BS degree, AA in a related field, or a minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience.
- Must have up-to-date First-Aid & CPR certification (willingness to renew as needed).
- Must be able to make a one-year commitment.
- Must have 5+ years of childcare experience in any field.
- Must possess excellent work and personal references.
- Must have a U.S. Driver's License.
- Must be a competent swimmer.
- Must be a non-smoker.
- Must be live-scanned and registered with Trustline if a CA resident.
- Must be willing to sign a no-cell phone driving guarantee.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to complete Stop the Silence training upon membership.
- Must be up to date on Tdap, Covid, MMR, and Flu vaccines.
- Must be willing to sign an NDA.
- Must have their own clean and safe vehicle.
- Must have a clean driving record.
