About the Role
A Territory Manager collaborates with the Area Sales Manager to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within an assigned geographic region, aiming to achieve business goals and grow the company's presence. This role requires strong communication, organization, listening, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to maintain a positive attitude when facing rejection.
Responsibilities
- Identify new potential clients and establish daily touchpoints through calls, emails, and in-person visits to build relationships and generate interest.
- Proactively follow up with prospects to maintain engagement and move them through the sales funnel.
- Accompany the ASM on prospect visits and meetings to observe, learn, and gain experience in sales strategies, relationship building, and closing techniques.
- Set up and coordinate daily meetings with prospects to discuss their needs and present solutions, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Backfill the ASM during customer events, workshops, and tradeshows to represent the company and engage with attendees.
- Input, track, and update all prospect interactions in Salesforce alongside the ASM.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or territory management, preferably in aesthetics.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish trust and build relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Self-starter and disciplined to cover assigned sales territory thoroughly through cold-calling and lead prospecting.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
- Ready access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
