About the Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our railway signaling projects are fully verified, validated, and integrated, meeting both Alstom's core technical processes and the project’s contractual requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, design overall test plans and scenarios, and much more.

Responsibilities

  • Designing overall tests, including integration between subsystems, test plans, procedures, objectives, scenarios, and steps, incorporating realistic customer and operational contexts
  • Preparing for test and integration sessions, including aligning impact analysis reports and scheduling validation meetings
  • Performing test and integration sessions, running test procedures, producing reports and creating work items
  • Participating in customer acceptance tests and site tests, if applicable
  • Specifying, designing, developing, and validating test environments and tools
  • Supporting defect investigations detected in factory or site environments
  • Estimating V&V workload to support overall project schedules
  • Ensuring test traceability versus requirements according to the Requirements Management Plan
  • Providing support to sub-systems validation teams during execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience working in areas such as V&V, Design, or Application
  • Experience or understanding of Supervision Control Center (ATS, SCADA, Security), Interlocking, PTC, CBTC, or Cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of test environment and tool design
  • Familiarity with configuration and requirements management processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
