About the Role
As a Senior Product Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing production test strategies to enable the successful launch of next-generation wireless SoCs and MCU products, ensuring they meet the highest standards for quality, performance, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Develop production test solutions for advanced wireless SoCs and MCU products for design validation and high-volume manufacturing.
- Design and develop hardware and software for automated test equipment (ATE) to characterize and validate new devices.
- Drive silicon characterization, reliability qualification, and statistical analysis to ensure product performance and quality.
- Develop stress test hardware and methodologies to support product qualification.
- Partner with Design, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing teams to accelerate new product introductions.
- Analyze test data to improve yield, optimize test coverage, reduce manufacturing cost, and resolve production issues.
- Support customer quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Deliver test solutions that meet aggressive development schedules from prototype evaluation through manufacturing release.
- Develop and test highly integrated mixed-signal devices including wireless RF circuitry, microcontrollers, embedded Flash memory, sensors, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, PLLs, and DC-DC converters.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of Product Test Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience developing production test solutions for mixed-signal, RF, or MCU-based ICs.
- Hands-on experience with industry automated test equipment (ATE) platforms such as Teradyne J750 or Teradyne Ultra FLEX.
- Programming experience with C/C++, Python, assembly language, or scripting languages such as Perl or Visual Basic.
- Working knowledge of MCU architectures and mixed-signal and/or RF systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, yield improvement, and process control.
- Proficiency using data analysis tools such as Minitab or Silicon Dash.
- Strong troubleshooting and debug skills across silicon, hardware, software, and production test environments.
- Experience with embedded Flash technologies.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from first silicon through production release.
