About the Role
Join our team at Theater des Westens as a Stage Management / Floater (m/f/d) for 20 hours per week, from mid-August 2026 until the end of November 2026. We are passionate about live entertainment, musicals, and top-tier theater productions, creating a dedicated team from diverse individuals. Responsibilities
- Monitor technical departments' positions and actions during rehearsals and performances in collaboration with the Caller.
- Control stage transformations for safety of performers and stage crew, ensuring safety in the entire stage area during and outside of operations.
- Create the weekly rehearsal schedule, manage rehearsals, and track performer attendance.
- Organize rehearsals.
- Maintain reporting systems (Show Report).
- Take over show-related tasks (Floater).
Requirements
- Experience in Stage Management is desired.
- Very good English skills.
- Good German language skills for announcements to the audience.
- Very good technical knowledge.
- Organizational talent.
- Strong time management skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Resilience and ability to perform under stress.
