About the Role

Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors is seeking a dedicated individual to perform general warehouse, production, and recycling service duties. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring efficient material handling and preparation for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse, production, and recycling service duties.
• Receive, sort, and stack incoming deliveries.
• Cut plastic, bale, sweep, dump, and operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided).
• Separate collected recyclable materials into established categories (aluminum, glass, high-grade white paper, corrugated paper).
• Move supplies and materials to the proper location.
• Stack materials for storage or binning.
• Assist with collecting and packaging recyclable materials for shipment.
• Prepare separated recyclables for shipment to the appropriate local recycler vendor.
• Help maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Fill in for other positions as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is helpful.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• GED or HS diploma preferred.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player.
