About the Role
As a Product Manager for Security Graph Experience, you will help security teams understand cloud environment interconnections and potential attacker exploitation paths. You will own the layer that makes Datadog's security graph comprehensible and actionable, enabling teams to answer critical questions about findings and attacker movement for immediate action. This role requires partnering with platform teams, other security product teams, and design to translate a complex data model into clear, actionable insights, sitting at the intersection of security expertise and product craft.
Responsibilities
- Define and build the roadmap, query, exploration, and visualization layer for security teams investigating risk across cloud, code, SIEM, and workload.
- Design the query and filter model for analysts to ask arbitrary graph questions without needing to understand the underlying data model.
- Drive cross-product entry points into the graph, ensuring alerts, findings, and vulnerabilities link into unified graph context.
- Work closely with executives, marketing, sales, design, and support teams to bring new graph-powered experiences to market.
- Develop a deep understanding of the security analyst workflow and identify where graph context improves investigation speed and quality.
- Maintain and report to product leadership on key metrics for graph feature adoption, investigation depth, and time-to-context.
- Partner with the Security Graph Foundations PM to shape the data model and platform capabilities based on visualization layer needs.
- Partner with customers to test graph UI concepts, validate investigation workflows, and understand complexity blockers.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years in enterprise software, with direct experience in security products (e.g., cloud security, SIEM, vulnerability management, or workload protection).
- Committed to product craft, caring about user experience as much as technical correctness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting product decisions clearly to engineers, designers, and executives.
- Comfortable navigating complex backend data models and translating them into UI surfaces that hide complexity without hiding information.
- Familiarity with graph data concepts (nodes, edges, traversal, path queries) sufficient to collaborate with engineers.
- Understands security investigation workflows to know what context an analyst needs and in what order.
- Strong design sensibility, with experience working closely with designers.
- Regularly uses LLM-based tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate work.
- Driven to build products in a high-growth environment where the owned surface is a core differentiator.
- Demonstrates strong ownership, a bias toward shipping, and clear prioritization.
