About the Role
As an Account Coordinator - Public Relations & Influencer, you will be part of an account team developing and delivering strategic, creative client programs for consumer lifestyle clients. Your role is to tell the client's story and drive impact through program execution, requiring collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. We seek a passionate, detail-oriented, and analytical thinker eager to learn and support account teams with tasks ranging from research to event logistics and media relations.
Responsibilities
- Support PR and influencer campaigns through research, brainstorming, and ideation.
- Assist in bringing campaigns to life from concept to execution.
- Draft and distribute press releases, pitches, media alerts, and influencer briefs.
- Coordinate media/influencer mailers, product shipments, and seeding moments.
- Plan and execute media/influencer events, including vendor coordination and on-site management.
- Maintain organized campaign files, trackers, and status documents.
- Build media and influencer lists using tools like Meltwater and Captiv8.
- Pitch media contacts via email and phone, and maintain relationships.
- Liaise with creators, track deliverables, and support end-to-end influencer campaign execution.
- Support social media engagement, respond to interactions, and monitor sentiment.
- Monitor media coverage and influencer content, track KPIs, and assist in report generation.
- Conduct industry research, monitor trends, and contribute new ideas.
- Communicate progress and project updates to the team and manager.
Requirements
- Post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the evolving Canadian news media and influencer landscape.
- Strong proficiency in social platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- A curious and adaptable team player.
Skills
- Community Management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of PR, influencer management, creative design, and AI platforms is a plus (e.g., Meltwater, Canva, Pulsar, Muck Rack, CreatorIQ, Captiv8, Traackr, Copilot).
- Prior agency experience is a plus.
