About the Role
The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2-3 (half days) commitment per week during business hours Monday - Saturday (9-5pm).
Responsibilities
- The provision of clinical massage therapy services
- Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records
- Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication
- Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care
- Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist
- Must be in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Must have appropriate professional liability insurance
- Must possess competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy.
