About the Role
Flow Traders is seeking entrepreneurial, competitive, and analytical students for a nine-week Trading Internship in our New York office during Summer 2027. This immersive program offers a 360-degree view of Flow Traders' role in financial markets, allowing interns to experience trading simulations, solve problems, and work on projects with experienced traders.
Responsibilities
- Learn directly from industry leaders on the New York trading floor
- Participate in structured educational courses and hands-on trading simulations
- Develop and test trading strategies through project-based work using quantitative models and trading tools
- Collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers to solve real-world trading challenges
- Gain in-depth exposure to Flow Traders’ core business and market-making activities
- Engage in intern events and become an integral part of our collaborative “One Team” culture
Requirements
- Candidate for a Bachelor’s degree studying in the United States with a major in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related
- Class of 2028, preferred
- Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
- Excellent mental math, quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and an affinity for scientific programming or development languages
- Ability to think on your feet, reason logically and deliver under pressure
- Innovative and creative with an entrepreneurial and competitive mindset
- Attracted to a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment that offers great challenges and rewards
- Must report in-person for this position at our New York office
