About the Role

The Assistant General Manager - Social (AGM-S) partners with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and hospitality. This role involves coaching staff, managing the Golf Experience Team, and overseeing the social and operational aspects of the venue to ensure guest satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue in simulator rentals, food and beverage sales, and league sales.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage the onboarding and continued education of staff.
• Evaluate employee performance to meet business needs.
• Oversee social operations including leagues, simulator rentals, event execution, facilities maintenance, and staff scheduling.
• Set and uphold high service standards.
• Monitor and reduce labor and operating costs.
• Manage location P&L and assist with local marketing.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and F&B offerings to drive sales.
• Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations.
• Build community relationships and foster customer loyalty.
• Oversee the guest experience from pre-visit to post-visit.
• Handle administrative tasks related to sales and customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve business goals.
• Manage the sales and execution of leagues and tournaments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hospitality management experience.
• At least 1 year of recent experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
• Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example.
• Exemplary communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Upbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
• Ability to maneuver up and down stairs.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications.
