About the Role

Canna Cabana is seeking knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individuals for Part-Time Shift Leader positions. This role offers significant growth opportunities within a globally recognized brand in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist store management in supervising and facilitating daily store operations.
  • Oversee store manager responsibilities in their absence.
  • Assist in personnel management during shifts and resolve customer service issues.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and instruction to store associates.
  • Ensure store conditions consistently meet established standards.
  • Assist in ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet business needs when requested.
  • Act as the sales and customer service leader in the absence of management.
  • Greet and assist customers, modeling exemplary conduct for staff.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant legislation by all staff.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Achieve sales targets and store-level KPIs.
  • Ensure employees on shift actively pursue sales goals.
  • Oversee and assist in inventory management and processes during shifts.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid CannSell license for retail cannabis sales.
  • Must have or be able to successfully complete a Police Background Check.
  • Demonstrated sales and service orientation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail industry work experience; cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Skills to monitor and lead by example.
  • Basic office administration skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy.
  • Excellent teamwork and team-building skills.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable health and safety legislation.
  • A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to work at different locations.
