About the Role
Join a team dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where children learn essential life-saving water safety skills. As an instructor, you will lead lessons, build relationships with families, and foster a positive atmosphere for students aged 6 months to 12 years.
Responsibilities
- Complete training with an experienced mentor in proven swim instruction methods
- Teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students and parents
- Maintain a high standard of safety in and around the pool
- Perform active, on-your-feet duties in the pool environment
- Instruct children across all age groups from 6 months to 12 years
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and maintaining positive energy
- Reliable, safety-minded, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule
- Comfortable working in the water and remaining active on your feet
- Must pass a background check following a conditional offer of employment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. via E-Verify
