About the Role

Newscape Studios, Inc. is seeking Freelance 2D Background Artists to contribute to their animation projects. The ideal candidate will possess substantial knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, and be able to adapt to various artistic styles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
• Finalize environments and background props for production use.
• Meet daily quotas during the production week.
• Complete approximately 25 environments per week.

Requirements

• Substantial knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of styles.
• Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color theory, light, and form.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Great listening skills.
• Great time management skills.
• Comfortable meeting deadlines and daily quotas.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Portfolio is required.
• Artists with LLCs are preferred but not required.
