About the Role
As an Associate, Technology & Operations Business Management, you will lead independent workstreams contributing to key departmental deliverables and initiatives, including supporting operational and financial activities. You will provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on business-as-usual activities and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop effective, timely reporting and trend analysis using various information sources to facilitate better decision-making and provide value-added insights.
- Foster strong partnerships with various departments and senior leadership to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate the development of three-year financial plans and quarterly forecasts with a zero-based budgeting mindset.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of organizational processes, systems, and financial data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Track departmental objective progress diligently and systematically, creating summaries for senior audiences.
- Coordinate requirements gathering and provide testing support for new departmental systems and tools.
- Undertake project work and ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- University Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, strategy or operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships effectively with people at all levels.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges.
- Ability to effectively manage toward timelines on multiple concurrent initiatives, keeping managers and colleagues apprised of progress and seek assistance as required.
