About the Role

Allen Control Systems (ACS) is seeking a Warehouse Manager to support company growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing structure, enhancing ERP systems, and establishing processes and metrics, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
  • Identify and/or solve operational issues by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
  • Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Maintain open and effective communications within the work group(s) and with other work groups within the organization.
  • Review data, identify and implement necessary actions as required.
  • May manage the profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization.
  • Lead a proactive safety program within the work group(s) consistent with company policy.
  • Instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training and processes.
  • Monitor the maintenance of equipment for assigned work group(s) by using checklists and observations as required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within a distribution center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes, profit and loss analysis, and demand planning methodologies.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in managing inventory levels and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Certification in operating power equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Experience in training and developing warehouse team members.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during daily operations.
  • Demonstrated success in team management and leadership within a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on precision and detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Standing or walking for 75% or more of their shift.
  • Repetitively lifting 50 pounds.
  • Navigating industrial environments.
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.
  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally.
