About the Role

Join the new Data Platform product team to build best-in-class infrastructure supporting data across the Eclipse and Data Platform. This strategic role involves collaborating with Product, Engineering, Cloud, and Service teams to shape the future of SS&C Eze products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own core data models and key infrastructure for the Eclipse Platform and Data Marketplace.
• Design and implement a data quality monitoring system including source-to-target validations and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and IT to inform product decisions and identify system improvements.
• Provide recommendations for information architecture and customer-facing insights.
• Work with Engineering, IT, and Security teams to meet data governance requirements.
• Build dashboards for leadership to monitor platform performance, availability, and user behavior.
• Address leadership inquiries for reporting, publications, and industry reports.
• Develop creative solutions for complex, unstructured problems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data modeling, analysis, and relational database design.
• Experience working with large, disconnected datasets.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
• Expertise in building data ingestion tools using Python, including web scraping and external APIs.
• Proficiency in Python data science packages such as numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, nltk, TensorFlow, and matplotlib.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning, NLP, or deep learning using Python.
• Experience working with PySpark.
• Experience in ELT/ETL development and handling unstructured datasets.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and multidimensional data models.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and fast solution delivery.
• Skill in generating complex analytics from large datasets.
• Effective cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL-related artifacts like schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms.
