About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced teacher to deliver English and/or maths within the Foundation Learning Department. The role involves supporting diverse young people to overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential. Successful candidates will join a supportive team at our Southgate Campus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver English and/or maths within the Foundation Learning Department.
- Support young people with diverse learning needs, backgrounds, and experiences.
- Teach on a range of subjects and programmes across the subject spectrums.
- Commit to working effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent).
- Possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working with young people with EHCPs, mental health issues or NEET backgrounds is useful.
- Subject specialisms required are English and/or maths.
