About the Role
By The Bay Health is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to provide essential personal care services to hospice patients, contributing to a team-based approach that addresses the practical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing and care of mouth, skin, and hair
- Assist patients with ambulation and transferring in and out of bed
- Turn and position patients for comfort
- Change bed linens
- Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
Requirements
- Current HHA license
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program
- Compliance with CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel
- Current California Driver’s License
- Automobile insurance meeting State of California requirements
