About the Role
Lead delivery on a major US tech hiring project, owning approximately twenty vacancies across AI/ML, Senior Architect, and Director-level positions in UK and US markets. This role operates on US East Coast business hours from a London base, requiring afternoon and evening work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Run full-cycle recruitment across AI/ML, architecture, and director-level searches.
- Build and execute sourcing strategies including headhunting, Boolean search, networking, and referrals to reach passive senior talent.
- Qualify candidates against complex technical briefs and present decision-ready shortlists.
- Manage candidates through the full process: prep, feedback, offer negotiation, and close.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and pipeline health.
- Maintain clean pipeline data and sharp reporting, consistently knowing pipeline numbers.
Requirements
- Agency recruitment background in tech hiring is non-negotiable.
- Experience recruiting for AI/ML, engineering, architecture, or adjacent technical roles, ideally at senior and leadership level.
- A fast-paced agency mindset: target-driven, resilient, and comfortable being measured on output.
- Genuine autonomy; ability to work well in ambiguity and take ownership of outcomes.
- Strong sourcing craft including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, talent mapping, and persistence in engaging passive candidates.
- Sharp commercial instincts to qualify briefs, push back on unrealistic requirements, and negotiate offers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for dealing with senior stakeholders and candidates.
- Ability and willingness to work US hours from the UK on a permanent basis.
