About the Role

The Lab Technician is responsible for the fabrication of dental appliances such as molds, operating and maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring all work meets the highest standard of quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Performs skilled fabrication work on dental molds, appliances, expanders, etc.
  • Completes work to a high standard of excellence.
  • Operates and maintains lab equipment.
  • Follows instructions and guidance from doctors.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Performs duties within OSHA, HIPAA, healthcare, and orthodontic regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Dependable and reliable to be at work when scheduled.
  • Able to stay organized and follow instructions.
  • Maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment.
  • Action-oriented and takes initiative.
