About the Role
WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is seeking a skilled and certified X-Ray Technologist to perform X-Ray procedures and examinations. Experience with C-Arm procedures is a plus. This position offers flexibility with full-time, part-time, and casual work options.
Responsibilities
- Administer diagnostic x-ray procedures and examinations.
- Maintain company standards for quality, procedures, methodology, and confidentiality.
- Assist and provide training to other x-ray technologists as needed.
- Ensure patient comfort and confidence in the center's staff and professionalism.
- Perform duties under the guidance of the clinic leader.
- Prepare reports and answer technical questions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company procedures, standards, and equipment.
- Ensure personal development through training to upgrade technical skills.
- Perform additional duties and work various shifts as assigned.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Current registration with CAMRT or provincial equivalent certification/license.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Maintain competence by attending staff meetings.
- Evaluate own performance and establish personal objectives.
- Participate in yearly staff performance reviews.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
- Demonstrated effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
