About the Role
As a Housekeeper at Madison Health, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all cleanable space within the facility using appropriate equipment and supplies. Performs patient room cleaning following Iso-chem treatment procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs dust mopping, damp mopping, baseboard detail mopping for all hard surface floors.
- Vacuums carpeted areas throughout the facility using appropriate tools.
- Collects and disposes of trash and hazardous waste.
- Cleans and maintains an assigned area (including restrooms, patient rooms, and other areas of the facility) to ensure a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe environment.
- Follows precise measures to ensure safe work practice at all times.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Proper body mechanics using the “S” stoke process for equipment use.
- Preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Appropriate waste stream management for regulatory compliance.
- Use of appropriate and pre-approved chemicals for sanitizing and cleaning.
- Following Iso-chem procedures for patient room cleaning.
- Utilizing Caution Signs when performing any wet cleaning method.

- 32 hours per week
- Weekdays 6 hours
- Every other weekend 8 hours
