About the Role
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to join the HR team, involving business project work, policy and pay practice revision, and case work. It provides exposure to the Boeing UK business and a comprehensive overview of the generalist HR field.
Responsibilities
- Work with the HR team to deliver project actions, collaborate with varied stakeholders, and enable successful business projects across the UK population.
- Assist and advise managers and employees on multiple people-related activities.
- Undertake investigation work to support HR cases and assist in formal hearings, including minute-taking and process facilitation.
- Collaborate with the HR team and Total Rewards functions to develop and deploy updated policies and pay practices.
- Support the development and delivery of manager training.
- Assist in the collation of data and metrics for the global dashboard.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must hold a UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel to sites nationwide is essential, including potential overnight stays during university careers fairs season.
- Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
Skills
- Studying a degree course (any subject accepted).
- Passion for the Aerospace sector.
- Confidence in presenting to large groups, in person and virtually.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to discuss ideas and concepts with stakeholders of all levels.
- Resilience and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to think rationally and compassionately through emotional situations.
