About the Role
As an Analog CAD engineering specialist, you will provide tools and support to circuit implementation teams building circuits for cars, cell phones, and data centers using the latest fabrication technologies and industry-leading Cadence software tools, including AI.
Responsibilities
- Provide tools and support to circuit implementation teams.
- Collaborate with circuit implementation experts to contribute to the development of exciting chips.
- Work with best-in-class EDA tools and interact with the Cadence engineering team developing those tools and AI.
- Support design and layout teams in the different steps of the design and layout flow: design capture, pre and post-layout simulation, optimization, layout, EM/IR analysis, thermal analysis, reliability, 2.5D and 3D IC.
- Drive, qualify, and develop tools, as well as build AI tools and infrastructure.
- Build tools to help increase the efficiency of the teams and the quality of the circuits.
- Collaborate with the design teams to improve their flows and design methodologies.
Requirements
- BSEE or MSEE degree.
- Previous experience in Analog CAD support (design, layout).
- Very good understanding of circuit design and layout design.
- Exposure to Cadence Composer Schematic, Virtuoso Layout, and physical verification tools is a plus.
- Team player, driven, self-motivated, innovative and autonomous.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills.
