About the Role

The Information Application Development Engineer / Architect will create modern industrial applications across OT and IT layers, ensuring Connected Enterprise and IIoT solutions. This role involves co-innovation with customers, providing technical pre-sales and post-sale support, and developing software solutions that bridge control systems with enterprise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop applications using Logix Designer and FactoryTalk Optix
  • Build edge-to-cloud integrations using DataMosaix, Plex, and Fiix
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and modern web applications
  • Utilize Time-Series Databases and Data Visualization Tools
  • Define architectures from Logix control layer to cloud
  • Align control data models with enterprise and cloud solutions
  • Apply cloud-native and event-driven architectures
  • Improve adoption of OPC UA standards
  • Design data models using Smart Objects, FT Optix, and FT DataMosaix
  • Integrate Logix, historian, and enterprise data
  • Promote analytics and predictive use cases
  • Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance
  • Translate complex architectures into actionable solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Legal authorization to work in the US
  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience
