About the Role
Your Golf Travel is seeking a commercially minded, creatively driven Head of Brand & Partnerships to shape the brand's next chapter. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of brand, partnerships, and commercial strategy, aiming to drive distinctiveness, emotional connection, and growth. Reporting to the CMO, you will lead the development and execution of the brand and partnership plan, shaping how the brand appears creatively, culturally, and commercially through standout campaigns and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and delivery of integrated 12-month brand and sales driving plans across key commercial periods and strategic moments.
- Lead major new brand campaign development, partnering with external agencies, production partners, and media owners.
- Own brand messaging frameworks and creative strategy, ensuring plans deliver a distinctive, emotionally engaging, and commercially effective brand presence.
- Develop and deliver Your Golf Travel’s partnership strategy across governing bodies, media, tourism boards, rights holders, and commercial partners.
- Secure and activate paid and value-in-kind partnerships that drive brand reach, customer value/experience, and commercial return.
- Create compelling partnership activation plans that support both brand and revenue objectives.
- Drive during/post booking ancillary income through partnerships.
- Measure partnership effectiveness, income secured, and long-term value creation.
- Lead ATL/new media channel planning and buying (e.g., TV).
- Own PR plans development/delivery, manage media relationships, press opportunities, and brand storytelling.
- Identify proactive opportunities to increase brand visibility, authority, and cultural relevance.
- Support executive profiling, thought leadership, and key business announcements.
- Work closely with analytics and performance teams to evaluate incrementality and channel mix/effectiveness.
- Identify priority ambassadors/influencers that align with the brand, and develop/deliver partnership plans.
- Ensure alignment with content and product teams.
- Continuously push boundaries of plans and evolve based on results.
- Develop 3rd party affiliate plans/partners to drive brand, sessions, and short-term sales metrics.
- Use insight, customer behaviour, and market trends to inform plans and decisions.
- Champion a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the wider marketing team.
- Develop frameworks for evaluating campaign, media, and partnership performance.
- Encourage structured testing and learning across creative, channels, audiences, and propositions.
- Act as a member of the Marketing senior team, developing overarching strategy and annual plans.
- Inspire, manage, and coach a sub-team of 4, including Senior Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive, Marketing Account Manager, and Business Development Executive.
Requirements
- Significant experience in delivering results in brand and integrated marketing roles.
- Significant experience in securing, negotiating, and activating strategic commercial and marketing partnerships.
- Significant experience in ATL media planning/buying, PR, and creative production.
- Significant experience working with influencers/ambassadors.
- Developed significant creative work that is distinctive, emotionally resonant, and commercially effective.
- Excellent creative judgement and storytelling capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capability.
- Experience managing multiple direct reports.
