About the Role

As a Bellperson, your passion for the property and respect for guests’ belongings will ensure that guests feel welcomed as soon as they arrive. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages, and other items within the property, ensuring proper storage and logging of long-term guest luggage. You will also provide personalized room orientations, act as a lobby ambassador, and assist with the delivery of guest amenities.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
• Ensure that all long-term Guest luggage is stored correctly and logged in the correct manner
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
• Be aware of all functions that are taking place in the hotel and to direct guests to the correct destination
• Delivery of guest amenities i.e. rollaway beds, microwaves, refrigerators etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficient in English (verbal & written)
• Prior experience in customer service is an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
